Experienced Club Director for over 12 years. All Metro Volleyball and Basketball player for El Camino HS. Played Collegiate basketball at UC Davis.  Head Official’s Assigner for Junior Colleges in Northern California.  Coached HS Volleyball and Basketball at Loretto HS.  Coached Club Volleyball as well.

24 years experience in Club Volleyball. Played Division I Men’s Volleyball at University of Winnipeg. Competed against US Olympic Gold Metalists Karch Karaly and Steve Timmons. Received presitgious Gary Colberg award from the Volleyball Festival for outstanding service for Juniors Club Volleyball in the United States.  Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Ponderosa HS, Rio Americano HS, Loretto HS, and currently El Camino HS.  Has won multiple section championships.

POWER TEAMS

18 Power 1  – Tim Reilly (Head Coach)
Current Varsity Head Coach at Casa Roble HS.  Former Varsity Coach at Mesa Verde HS, Center HS and Elk Grove HS.  Standout athlete in multiple sports at Casa Roble HS.  Last season Tim lead Casa Roble into the Division 2 Section Playoffs.  Tim is a veteran club coach also with many years of experience under his belt.

 16 Power 1  – Neil Davidson(Head Coach)
Neil comes to Sacramento from the Bay Area where he was one of the top Club and High School Coaches in the Region.  The past 2 years Neil has lead Drake HS into both the Section Finals and NorCal State Playoffs.  Neil was also a very successful JO’s coach with Absolute VBC.  He brings a wealth of coaching experience to Sac Valley VBC this season

 

16 Power 2  – Vince Escobar(Head Coach)
Vince is currently the Head Varsity Coach at Laguna Creek HS. Entering his 17th season of volleyball coaching in Southern and Northern California.  He has over twelve combined years at the high school/club level.  Seventh year as the Men’s Head Varsity Coach at Elk Grove High School

 

15 Power 1  – Marty Soyama (Co-Head Coach)
Marty is the Head Coach at El Camino HS. Section Championship winning coach at both El Camino HS and Rocklin HS, Optimist All Star Coach 3 times. Optimist All Star Hall of Fame recipient. Former Head Coach of Loretto HS.  16s Power Coach with NorCal Select for many years.  Marty has lead El Camino into the Section and NorCal Playoffs the last 2 seasons and currently is one of the top ranked coaches in the Sacramento Area.

15 Power 1  – Dave Coad (Co-Head Coach) – Assistant Varsity Girls Head Coach at El Camino HS.  Over 10 years as a premiere girl’s club coach in the Sacramento Area.

14 Power 1  – James Todd
Currently the Head Varsity Coach at Whitney HS in Rocklin.  Previously coached Varsity at Encina High School and received Coach of the Year Award for the GEL league 2009-2010.  Voted CAL coach of the year 2011-2012  Founder of New Era Volleyball Club and also Club Director.  Formerly Coached 14 power age group  (Made Junior Olympics).  Brings over 10 years of Club and High School coaching experience.

 

14 Power 1  – Gary Garot(Assistant Coach)
Gary is currently the JV coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Whitney HS in Rocklin.  Gary is also a long time player and brings a wealth of volleyball experience to Sac Valley VBC

14 Area 1 – Margaret Sotoa (Head Coach)
Margaret coached at St. Philamene School from 1994-2007 for both Boys and Girls Varsity Volleyball and over 10 years of Junior Club Coaching experience .

14 Power JSA – Eugene Felise (Head Coach)
Eugene is the Varsity head coach at Mira Loma HS.  Asst Coach at St Philomene 2005 to 2007 – Head Coach 2008 to 2009.
 

 

 

 

12′s – Amanda Sweet (Head Coach) – Relocated to California – The last two years  coached the 13′s team for Rock Volleyball Club out of Janesville, WI.
